    • THE GREAT SCHEMA TEE
Within the Orthodox Church, the Great Schema represents the highest degree of monastic life. Adorned with images of the angelic Seraphim and the instruments of Christ’s Passion, every element of the habit of the Great Schema is meant to symbolize the self-crucifixion of the monk or nun in imitation of Christ. The Great Schema encapsulates the Christian life as spoken of by St. Paul the Apostle: I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. (Gal. 2:20) Get into the Habit!
      Price: $20.00
    • JESUS NOT MADE BY HANDS TEE
The image of Jesus, Not Made By Hands, is a particular kind of icon - called Acheiropoieta (“made without hand”) - allegedly coming into existence miraculously, not by a human painter. According to Christian tradition, the Image of Edessa was a holy relic consisting of a rectangle of cloth upon which a miraculous image of the face of Jesus was imprinted — becoming the first icon. The image is known as the Mandylion. Get into the Habit!

    • THE REFUGE AND THE HOPE OF SINNERS TEE
Our Mother of Perpetual Help (known in the East as Theotokos of the Passion) is one of the most famous icons of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, who is described here as The Refuge and The Hope of Sinners. "Behold at thy feet, O Mother of Perpetual Help, a wretched sinner who has recourse to thee and confides in thee. O Mother of mercy, have pity on me. I hear thee called by all the refuge and the hope of sinners: be then, my refuge and my hope." Get into the Habit!

    • HOLY SMOKES NUNS TEE
What do you call four nuns taking a smoke break outside the convent? Holy Smokes! Really, the image requires no explanation. Not for the hyperdox or holier-than-thou. Get into the Habit!

    • ST. BRIGID OF KILDARE LAKE OF BEER TEE
St. Brigid of Kildare (c. 451-525) was an Irish nun, abbess, and founder of several convents, and (with St. Patrick of Ireland and St. Columba of Iona) is one of the three patron saints of Ireland. She also composed the famous “Lake of Beer” poem-prayer: “I would like a great lake of beer for the King of Kings. I would like to be watching Heaven's family drinking it through all eternity.” Her feast day is February 1. Get into the Habit!

    • G.K. CHESTERTON PINT, PIPE, & CROSS TEE
G.K. Chesterton said, “In Catholicism, the pint, the pipe and the cross can all fit together.” Indeed, they can, and they must. For it is heretical to consider all drinking as drunkenness and all smoking as vice. It is equally erroneous to reject suffering and the ascetical struggle necessary for our salvation. There is a time to fast and a time feast - a time to take up our cross and a time to pick up our pipe and pour a pint. Get into the Habit!

    • THE JERUSALEM CROSS TEE
The Jerusalem Cross is a heraldic cross consisting of a large cross potent surrounded by four smaller Greek crosses, one in each quadrant. The four smaller crosses symbolize the four Gospels written by the four evangelists (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) and the four directions in which the Word of Christ spread from Jerusalem. Alternately, all five crosses can symbolize the five wounds of Christ during (hands, feet and side) or the Pentateuch (the first five books of the Old Testament).

Perfect tee for the Irish of blood and Irish of heart! Our father among the saints Patrick of Ireland, Bishop of Armagh and Enlightener of Ireland, was born a Briton. • ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI TERTIARY TEE
With the impossibility of all Christians entering monastic life, St. Francis of Assisi offered to those living in the world the means of attaining Christian perfection. Thus the ideal of lay monasticism was born - that the religious life could be practiced by all Christians according to the rule of the Gospel. Such followers of Christ are called Tertiaries (Third Order), Secular Franciscans, or simply lay monastics. • ST. SERAPHIM OF SAROV JESUS PRAYER TEE
Venerated by Orthodox, Catholic and Anglican Christians, St. Seraphim of Sarov was like a candle burning in the frigid forests of Russia – at times, literally radiating the light of Christ. The most famed example of the saint's near super-human asceticism was when he spent 1,000 successive nights on a rock in unceasing prayer, saying: "Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner." • YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A MONK TO LIVE LIKE ONE - BEARDS TEE
St. John Chrysostom said: “You greatly delude yourself and err, if you think that one thing is demanded from the layman and another from the monk.” St. Seraphim of Sarov said: “The fact that I am a monk and you are a layman is of no importance. The Lord listens equally to the monk and to the man of the world provided both are true believers.” You don't have to be a monk to live like one. Growing a beard is good first step.
